Sounds like a network connection issue. Do you use a wired or wireless network?

From what I read it is probably a network connection issue. Could you give us more information about that? Ethernet or WiFi? 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz? Fiddling with these settings might solve your issue.

1. make sure streaming is enabled on the host pc
2. make sure pc and link are on teh same subnet (connected to the same router)

i suspect i'll be lost in the crowd of threads, but this is the only thing i care about in regards to this device.
for all the network connection issues i see it couldn't be basic debian +steam

My Steam Link is currently reporting that my desktop is offline after 15-30 minutes play, despite there being no network connectivity issues on either device. I can only fix this by exiting the game
that's being streamed from the desktop and then restarting Steam. I've tried this on both the Beta and normal versions of Steam, and both on wired and wireless connections.

I just got the steam link today, and as of now I haven't been able to get it working. I've set it up, it opens the network setup menu, and I can see my networks. They have a 3/4 bar connection, green

The new problem is, that today suddenly my home WiFi is nowhere to be found in the available networks list. I can find and connect to my neighbors Wifi just fine. All other devices like the

To resolve the following I just had to disable Avast Anti Virus software permanently by right clicking on it and disabling permanently.

I have wasted days on this issue and purchased a new router
