FAQ!
Q: How do we enter raffles?
A: Contact the admin or moderator responsible for holding the raffle and pay the entry fee.

Q: Can I be a Mod?
A: You can apply here: http://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/groups/tf2retc/discussions/1/

Q: Can I be an Admin?
A: We will promote you if we find that you are really adept being a mod. Its not easy!

Q: What kind of items do you take for buy-ins?
A: Mainly keys, metal and craft hats (being craft hats any craftable hat or misc).

Q: Do I have to overpay with items?
A: Yes. You should overpay (unless they are the currencies listed above) by at least 30%, being the minimum 1 reclaimed.

Q: Do I get change if I buy in with a hat that is more expensive than the slot?
A: Yes. Although, keep in mind the 30% fee.

Q: What happens after I enter a raffle?
A: You wait for the entries to be filled or refunded. If you win, you'll be contacted by the moderator or admin hosting the raffle.

Q: How do are winners chosen?
A: We use Random.org to choose all of our winners. We also provide proof of the number picked through a screenshot.

Q: Can I leave a raffle before it ends?
A: No. There are absolutely no refunds after you enter in the raffle, unless in special circumstances, as the 1 week limit (see below).

Q: How long do raffles take to end?
A: It depends. It is usually 2-3 days, but NEVER above a week. We have a policy of refunding all the participants and closing a raffle if it goes on for more than a week. (Unless it's an unusual raffle)

Q: If I ask you guys to raffle one of my items and change my mind, can I have it back?
A: Yes, if there are no slots taken. If there are slots taken, you can't have your item back until the 1 week limit (unless the mod and the participants agree on closing the raffle - this will not be done unless in decent circumstances).

Q: Can I buy multiple slots?
A: Yes, although some raffles are subjected to a slot limit.

Q: Can I choose my slots?
A: Sure. Pick any number you want, as long as it's not taken.

Q: Can I ask a mod or admin to raffle an item I own?
A: Yes. You'll contact a staff member, and discuss the raffle details with him/her (entry fee, number of slots, etc.) OBS: This is subject to the raffling rules.

Q: Do I get 100% of the raffle buy-ins?
A: Yes and No. The admin or mod who raffled the item for you will decide if they want a small share of it as a fee. However, if you make it non-profit (Low end of bp.tf, not including paint or strange part), then you are exempt from charges.

Q: Can I set any fees and slots I want for my raffles?
A: In a way, yes. Although it is subject to the raffling rules. You cannot, as an example, raffle a Bill's Hat with a 1 key entry and 20 slots. (30% max profit between users)

Q: Are there free raffles?
A: Yes, we eventually host comment giveaways, chat giveaways, etc.

Q: Why doesn't the group get a server?
A: Because it makes no sense. People would need to be online and playing to join raffles, such as "craffles" held by admins on trading servers. It also takes money to keep a server.

Q: I want to donate to a giveaway. What should I do?
A: First, know that I love you and donations for FREE giveaways are really appreciated. Your item would not be used for profit, and you should just give it to an admin or mod and let him know of the purpose.

Q: If the number of slots or prizes in a raffle change, what happens with my entry?
A: Raffle slots or prizes will NEVER be edited after the first slot was taken, as this is strictly against the rules (example, increasing number of slots while some were already taken).

Q: Will I be refunded if I lose?
A: No. If you lose, your entry fee is lost as well.

Q: Will I be refunded if I win?
A: N-wai what?

Q: If I get banned or kicked from the group, will I be refunded of my raffle entries?
A: Depends. If the admins consider your actions grave, such as continuous and unnecessary insulting, flame wars, etc, you WILL NOT be refunded.

Q: I had a problem with a mod or admin, what should I do?
A: If it was a minor issue, you should try to work it out - politely - with the admin or mod. If it is a more serious problem - such as scamming, blocking from friend list without reason, etc, it should be immediately reported to Santa, Cookies or myself.

Q: Am I allowed to trade stuff in the group?
A: Yes, we have a trading thread for those. DO NOT post these in the main page, as they will be deleted.

Q: How long do I have to collect my prize?
A: If you take any longer then 3 days, the raffle hoster/ess will re-draw the raffle. Your other slots are exempt from winning the raffle.

_______________________________ FOR MODS: ____________________________

Q: How do I make a raffle?
A: You go to the announcements page, and create an announcement. Collect the entry fees, and place the winners in the announcement. When it ends, you must pick the winner through random.org, and YOU MUST post PROOF (a screenshot, using puush or imgur).

Q: How much profit can I make on an item?
A: 20% max profit based on backpack.tf pricelist. If you are doing an user raffle, it's maximum 20% for the user, and 30% total (You can receive more if the user allows so. If you do not take a tip, it's 20%)

Q: Are all kinds of items allowed?
A: No. Vintages are forbidden, and any other hard-to-sell items (botkillers, bad genuines) are of your choice to risk.

Q: What is the maximum value of a raffle?
A: Any item above the value of 20 keys requires a permission from the admins first, and any item above that value is an exception (as unusuals are) to the 1 week limit rule.

Q: An user is asking me to refund him. Is it allowed?
A: Only if it's been over 1 week (exception for unusuals), or if you are going to close the raffle for some reason. In that case, refund everyone.

Q: I just got trial mod! What do I do?
A: First, congrats. It would be nice to start with a giveaway, and you need to keep those up as a mod or trial mod. Also, try to add the staff members, get to know them. It might help you becoming a perma mod.

Q: What can't I do and what do I have to do as a trial mod?
A: You cannot raffle anything of value over 4 keys; you need to check in with me or other admins from time to time; you need to report any user raffle requests; you need to obey the raffling and mod-related rules; you should absolutely NOT ban or kick any members without an admin permission.

Q:Someone is being suspicious(trade probation,private profile,etc.)What do I do?
A:You have the right to reject them if they are that suspicious.

This thread will be frequently updated. If you have any other doubts, contact a staff member or simply comment! :)
