Just like JOURNEY did, ABZU managed to fill me with determination. (hhaha.)
Okay, seriously tho... ABZU managed to give me near the same emotional exchanges that I had with JOURNEY.

The under water environment is beautiful, and while somewhat linear, manages to always keep you entertained and under the impression that you are 'exploring'. There are lite puzzles sprinkled in the game, but none are head bangers. Quite easy to get past and the game REALLY just wants you to enjoy the experience.

The music is just beautiful and puts those "Disney" butterflies in your stomach when you watch the dolphins and whales jump around you as the crescendo of flutes and other orchestral instruments create a sense of euphoria quite unique to a video game. It always feels like a "SPECIAL MOMENT" reserved for 'just you' as you watch the animals play with your player.

It's an experience that game developers need to create more of... BUY THIS GAME.

If you'd like to watch me play some of ABZU. Click on the video below.
