Ironman Compatible

Shout outs to In heaven. We figured out how to get this working together after 1.19

Update: Reworked the shader in the new format. Now works perfectly, but the stock version from Paradox is spaghetti code. Fixed it to be less terrible in 1.05

Expanding on my other recent mods, Translucent Colored Mapmodes, and Translucent Colored Mapmodes Low Snow, High Color, I am pleased to present to all of you a new and fun variation on these mods in which map color transparency is determined by Zoom-level, aiming to replicate or at least provide something like the new political mapmode in the HoI4 previews. This version is Low-Snow. If you guys insist, I will release a higher-snow mod, but I think that the extra snow makes it very hard to see the borders.

Zooming in makes the map color more transparent, zooming out makes it less transparent.

Also, Revolutionary borders mod (no water, no fonts) is now attached as a required mod. Of course, you don't actually need to activate the required mods, but this is the easiest way for me to insist that you try them.

Thanks to artanis for all his help in figuring out the shader code.
Thanks to Kryo for the borders and fonts.

Ive been trying to get some version of this mod working for ages now, if anyone knows how to get it work or could replicate the effect please let me know! :)

Thank you. I see that now, this mod only has one file. I am using the Revoljutionary Borders mod now with this one, it's a great combo! (I like it more than the Graphical Map Improvements mod)

It should be, as long as the Graphical Map Improvements mod doesn't include its own pdxmap.shader. If you delete the pdxmap.shader from another mod, this mod will work w it.

Is this compatible with Graphical Map Improvements mod?

nvm, got it to work.

I can't get this to work, can someone confirm if this is working on the current patch or if it is something on my end?

@sulphurous yes. I wrote this a while ago, but there is a constant in the shader that controls it.

Is there a way to adjust the opacity?

@turtlerepublic idk, does it work right now? If it stops working, I will update it, but if it's just to get rid of that little ! mark, I'm not too interested rn.
