As a follow-up to the recent updates to Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, we are beyond excited to announce that we've now added Steam achievements to the game as well!

And since we know we have a lot of collectors among us, we're adding tons of Steam community items too. That means you're now able to earn Trading Cards, Profile Backgrounds, Badges and Emoticons! Some of these can be earned naturally by playing the game or traded with other Commanders, and some can be bought for Steam points on the Steam market. You can check examples below the article.

Today is the day - we are excited to announce that we have just published the new update for Soldiers: Heroes of World War II for all our players! It brings enhanced Editor, important fixes, and more - the extensive full Change Log is available below.

Full Change Log:

General

• Added enhanced Editor. Players can now edit existing maps or missions or create entirely new ones.
  
• Fixed a bug preventing players from saving key bind changes..

Graphics

• Adjusted upscaling to scale the UI only on high resolutions and HDPI displays; the 3D scene will now render at full resolution.

Stability

• Enabled the LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE flag, allowing Soldiers.exe to use more than 2GB of RAM.
  
• Fixed a crash that occurred when taking savegame screenshots at high resolutions.

Localization

• Added missing localization strings for Workshop and Multiplayer sections.
  
• Added missing localization strings for French, Spanish, German, and Italian.
  
• Removed video.set from Russian localization to ensure compatibility with other languages.
