Hey Forerunners—we've seen a spike in the number of accounts having issues lately (including but not limited to):

• Accounts being banned for using exploits/cheats/hacks and the reason not showing using any cheats.
  
• Account complaints being ignored or having to be repeated.
  
• Account had been reported stolen and ultimately blocked, with no explanation as to why that occurred.
  
• Accounts being banned for unclear reasons (Less common, but still happens.)

In addition to consolidating many threads and eliminating spam, this post gives us the opportunity to provide a clear path for how to resolve these bans, where resolution is possible.

Please remember that NARAKA does not tolerate cheating, and we consider it a serious offence. We would like to make clear to all players considering cheats that we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding such behavior. There is no guarantee that an appeal for a ban will be successful.

If you feel that your ban was unjustified and want to attempt an appeal, please provide the following information when contacting service@narakathegame.com.

We also care about your game account and recommend that you take these steps to secure it.

1. Enable the mobile phone Steam token and obtain the login verification code through your phone.
   
2. Turn on two-step verification for the email account bound to your game and set a strong password; turn off automatic forwarding.
   
3. Please make sure your Steam account password and email password are not the same.
   
4. Do not click outside links sent by friends or strangers.
   
5. Steam customer service will not contact users through their friend networks. Neither will it ask for any game serial numbers or credit card information.
   
6. Never save your Steam account credentials on an unfamiliar computer.
   
7. In the activity center, select mobile phone binding for a gift and bind your account to protect it.
