there are 3 types of qunari

there are those like iron bull and the qunari from DA2 those are part of the qunari race

there are those like sten who are also part of the qunari race but have a rare genetic disorder that causes them to be hornless similar to redheads in humans

then theres everyone else like gatt who follow the qun but are not actually part of the qunari race


as for the elves DA2 simply changed their models which they sorely needed in origins elves looked like skinny humans with pointy ears in DA2 and onwards elves now have a unique design

Cool, thanks for the insight

i much prefer the Elvish design in DA2. I forgot I made my person an Elf in DAO because of how similar they looked to regular humans; Always a bit jarring when I was recognised as an elf!

i also like the DA2 elven look, as for sten i think the main reason behind it is just like the elves in origins they made the qunari but i dont think they really knew what they was going to do with them so they just made sten into a bulky muscular human in DA2 they changed how the qunari race looked and since sten from origins looked different i think thats why they did the hornless thing. though personally i woulda prefered if they just made him a member of the qun religion and not the race that woulda made more sense
