A fantastic game that will SURELY surprise you

The first part is a bit boring and the ecchi scenes are a bit annoying at the beginning

However, when the game has its plotwist, it became one of the best experiences I've ever had with the video game media.

It's bizarre, courageous and very unique

Play with the version that Jast uses, the sex scenes are crucial to better understand the game

Get the JAST patch and prepare for a mindblowing experience. Highly recommended for VN readers, both casual and serious.

I am absolutely in love with this visual novel: immaculate character depth and design - I am a big fan of Tsuji Santa's art! - and a gorgeous soundtrack. I can only recommend this if you've enjoyed MiSide and DDLC.

I'm an absolute sucker for games like these. Doki Doki Literature Club was my gateway into Visual Novels as a whole and I've been going down the denpa/meta rabbit hole for awhile now. I didnt know that You and Me and Her (Totono) was the game that inspired DDLC until recently. Now that I finally got around to playing it, Its been a while since I've gotten sucked into a game quite as much of this one and it was one heck of a ride. Totono, as expected, starts off pretty unassuming. In short, Totono follows your character, Shinichi, as he forms an unlikely friend trio of the class popular girl/childhood friend Miyuki, the class oddball Aoi. As their friendship grows and the distance between the three of them become closer, yadayadayada romance visual novel stuff happens. Or does it???

As the game's Psychological Horror tag would suggest, depending on the choices you make and how far you take them, the game breaks down into a fascinatingly immersive meta experience. The plot twists come hard and heavy, the horror elements always landed at just the right times. The game even becomes a bit emotion and reflective as you approach both the endings, tying the game in a particularly satisfying way.

There's honestly not much point in going on and on about what makes this game so great beyond this. If this is a genre you like and niche you're interested in, You and Me and Her is absolutely a one of a kinda experience and I would highly recommend it. Just please, do yourself a favor and play with the JAST patch and let yourself get sucked in. You wont be disappointed!
