I also have ERROR! Can't save options: #00000002 at vars.c line 1004

I tried shut down the fire wall and created McLog.txt file under McPiexl3 folder but not working. And I found one thing which might be the reason: my McPiexl3 folder is under user/onedrive/document. Onedrive is the cloud storage of Win 11 but I I recently uninstalled the onedrive from my pc, so that might be the reason.
however I got no idea about how to fix it without reinstall the Onedrive.

Hi! Apologies for this! It seems there's a bug in recent Windows update that returns garbage characters when requesting Documents folder location and OneDrive is enabled!

I ahev not been able to reproduce this so far, but I am looking for ways to fix it! Please accept my apologies and stay tuned for a bit longer! I'll crush this as soon as I'm able to make it happen on my machine!

Alright, I finally know what's causing this!

So, Windows Security is apparently preventing the game from writing the Documents folder.

When this happens:

Press Start / Windows key
Type "Windows Security" (or whatever it is in your language, it has a shield icon) and press enter
From the sidebar menu, click "Protection history" and see if "McPixel3.exe" was recently blocked.
Click "Controlled folder access settings" and allow McPixel 3 to write the Documents folder to save the game.

Let me know if this works.

I followed the steps and the game is not listed anywhere in the protection history, I had the same error on my first time ever running the game
