Abandoning quests?

Has anyone figured out if abandoning a quest is possible? I'm stuck on a quest - I was sent by another NPC to get something from Ursula, but when I tried to trade for it, I didn't realize my inventory was full. It asked me to swap something out, so I chose something to drop, but instead of dropping my item, the quest item just disappeared. Now I'm stuck with the quest log telling me to collect the item from Ursula, but Ursula won't speak to me anymore. Can't find a way to start over so I can fix it.

No, unfortunately there is no way to abandon a quest and Gameloft is less than helpful when it comes to getting you unstuck. I have been unable to do Remy's daily quest for about four months now. Gameloft's repeated response to my inquiries have been, "We're aware of the issue and are working on a solution." I'm thinking that they are using a hammer and chisel to fix this one!

you can sometimes reach out to them and they will send you the quest object in your in-game mail, worth a try.

Much older and free RPGs had an option to abandon quests, and any quest-related item (if unique) disappears from inventory. Gameloft should really learn from them.

I had problem while harvesting the coffee tree for a quest, making the bush disapear without giving me the coffee beans, I wrote to the support and I got the bush again by mail in 24h
