Fun racing game! Mario Kart meets Ultimate Chicken Horse (but still very much it's own thing)

I appreciate the rubber banding to an extent, but it seems a little extreme at times. It's a little annoying to be passed by someone who's been running into obstacles non stop when you've simply been driving better. I do like that basically anybody can make a comeback though.

It's a little bit buggy when it comes to the shortcuts occasionally. Sometimes a car will hit the edge of a track, but still be falling and it'll kill everyone on the track above even though the shortcut wasn't successful, and sometimes my car simply wont respawn. The bots can be a little finicky at times (specifically with placing obstacles on the tracks) but there's no major reoccurring issues or bugs.

The camera can be a little frustrating at times. It can get a bit confusing knowing how far behind you're allowed to be. Sometimes you'll get cutoff/die when you're only a few cars lengths away and then other times the camera zooms out rather far.

Placing obstacles can also feel a little bit clunky. You basically have to trace your track to get to different levels if you have areas that overlap. Not the worst, but part of the reason why I tend to choose tracks instead.

Sometimes you'll die too close to the respawn point and you wont get a chance to race at the checkpoint even if the other cars didn't go yet. It's happened to me in all of the modes but I think it's the most prevalent when you have shortcuts on. Even if you have no shot of reaching another track, the game won't declare you dead until you hit the ground. I understand the mechanic, but it can really mess you up sometimes.

I really like the tracks with built in obstacles and I wish there was a mode that made them more frequent. There is an extreme mode without any walls that also adds obstacles but it's just not quite the same.

Leveling up takes a bit longer than expected, but the unlocks are frequent enough to make it a nonissue. I'm a big fan of the different horns tied to the different cars. The cars all seem to control pretty well. They get a little floaty/weightless in the air, but I don't really mind it

I still love the game despite my minor complaints. I just think these things prevent me from playing it for longer stretches of time. The minor annoyances tend to build up after 30-45 minutes or so. I haven't had this game for very long, but I'ts already become one of my top picks when I'm hanging out with friends!
