I think you were one of the few people interested in my lore deck, I have it complete for now until we get the next part of the story. It works really well and is consistent....if it doesn't get interrupted. This deck can be way more viable if I add hand traps and such to it, and I have a "competitive" version, but this is my lore deck that I am pretty happy with.

Yeah, the White Forrest lore deck can be pretty fun.

edit: disclaimer because people will think so, but the 2x queen isn't a mistake. When you play this deck as pure as this, she is no longer a brick, she's an extender.

She is pretty nice to have in the deck.

I have her at one as she is easily searchable in deck and it is petty fun to use her 2-3 times in a turn as a combo piece.

I could cut some stuff and make it more efficient, but I am having fun with this version as bringing out Crystal Wing is always fun.

I have just been fooling around with a "Paladin Deck". Basically I went looking for things I felt had that Aesthetic. However I quickly ran into issues and widened it to things like Dragoons and Dragon Riders and Knights in general. My point was the Aesthetic after all and cards based on Paladins also made the cut.

from what it sounds u wanna go with a buster blader package as base sounds like it would be nice also got that nice little dragon whelp that makes all opps monsters into dragons meaning ur big beaters get bigger

Nah, that's a completely different thing. BB is a Dragonslayer. So while he's in the deck its only to make Dark paladin. Buster Blader doesn't fit the Aesthetic I want on his own. Honestly most of the actual Paladin cards are Dogmatika girls.

i mean paladin with BB and a slight dragon shell aint that far off depends on how far u take the dragon slaying side like even magia could fit

Magia is indeed in the deck, but more for the connection with the other cards already in.

As I said, Buster Blader just is not the aesthetic I am going for. He is a step too far already and only in because fusion deployment makes him easy to use for Dark Paladin. I understand if your idea of the Aesthetic is different, but its not what I am going for.

Have you found a way to make silent paladin work? It feels like such a waste that her design is amazing, but even if you try to run her as old silent support she isn't worth the space...

I tried, but she's just not modern enough. She searches very specific cards, uses your normal summon and isn't even a spellcaster or Warrior for the Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman cards. She's a fairy. If they ever want to retrain her the answer is obvious but the original just isn't matching.

A retrain would be a spellcaster and Warrior while on field and search any "Silent Magician" or "Silent Swordsman". Also she would have a float instead of that graveyard recovery effect. Even then she would still probably need to special summon herself to be playable.

As for using her in a paladin deck, well she's a spell negate, though a bad one. Otherwise she's just a search for cards you probably don't want to be playing and need normal summons to use.

Maybe she'll get a retrain for the Shining Sarc archetype. Give the deck a little more searching power and another specific negate.

It's really such a shame, I also thought the fix would be to make her both a warrior and spellcaster as well; Such a beautiful design that may as well just be a vanilla monster. I hope the rest of your deck works out though, it sounds like a neat concept
