If someone is pissed at droll, its probably trickstar
Sorry, my fast typing and not paying attention once again strikes with communication issues. I meant trickstar would be guilty of making him hate droll, as trickstar reincarnation+droll is just rude as hell. It's also pretty high roll, but it can make people pretty pissed when it happens.
Trust me. You don't want every combo deck to be able to play uncontested.
When that meta shifts to board breakers. Combo will get cards like Foolish Burial Goods and Knightmare Gryphon banned because we're using them to set floodgates that prevent the board breakers from being used.
In those cases Ash would have been better, because whatever card triggered droll went through.
I do not think decks get the line drawn on whether the free special summon is summoned on effect, or just has a card added that can special itself as a means of intentional balance.
Snake Eyes gets hit hard, Tear shrugs it off.
The bigger issue is you can drop Droll and Lock on Maxx C or any of the mulcharmies which kets the turn player go full combo again. Droll and Lock is super bad for the game and it gets worse when the speed of the game gets higher.
