it is not really the rice fields and the buildings i have seen from the new board game
(unless i missed another content update)

If You Play With Just the Sakura Biome, Or Limited, Like Sakura + Blossom,
The Fields ARE a Different Color, Greens (Rice) Instead Of Yellows (Wheat/Grains)
I Usually Like Some Purple (Lavender) Too

If You Have Multiple Biomes On, That Can Look Good,
But Will Also Give You a Mix Of Everything, Including Fields

All three of the board games have interesting ideas that would improve the main game, but development of the actual game appears to be completely dead with no updates since March 2023. :/

We have the Sakura board game and it’s completely different with a progress map and stuff you unlock while venturing over the map. It would be great if they‘d develop a digital version of that.

Not "dead" in fact 🙌 It's more a question of timing and structure, as we're only a very small indie team of eight people here on the developer side. We started developing our new game Star Birds last year - and we can't do both at the same time. So Dorfromantik is currently on vacation, but it's far from being buried. We know that the capacity bottleneck is a test of patience for players. Perhaps Star Birds can make up for the wait in 2025? 🐔🦉🐥
