Hide in Bush bug?

Is there a current bug when hiding in a bush/high grass that they always spot you? I'm playing freelancer crouching in bushes and they look at me from a distance and than go investigate. So not a full spot but enough they go look, sometimes it can be helpful but it seems like a bug since I'm hidden and they just look at me?

That's not a bug, that's a feature. If you are to close an move, they will hear a noise and go investigate. Also they will see you if you aim out of the bushes.

Or are you just sitting there doing nothing, and they come by during a patrol and start to investigate?

I'm moving in the bushes a bit but I didn't think they could see me from that far away. Been playing the game for a long time. Just a first I been spotted like this lol. I guess they could hear me not sure.
