I tried out Mirror's Edge on Linux via the compat. layer this evening and it works great. But, as I have an ultrawide monitor I wanted it in 21:9 without any Windows-specific hackery - so I hex-twiddled the Engine.u file and yeah, that works too. In certain places the game goes from super smooth to unplayable. I don't understand what it is does anyone know why? I'm playing on default settings 1920x1080

To everyone who praises this game, i don;t know why The contrast and brightness even on low was horribly designed, the movement was so slow, you bump a wall and the running speed was all gone, like what? didn't even feel like you were running or sprinting, just jogging and fast walking and the sliding was was like not even thrilling. The direction was so out of place and not helpful. It is a DICE game, so it is no surprise....

I loaded the game up today and everything is wiped, only option to play is new game and there isn't anything in the extras tab. Why was all of my data wiped? I was enjoying the game but this really ruined all my motivation to keep playing :(
