This game is very strange, and not in a good way. I've played dozens of turn-based strategy games, this is one of the oddest.

On the positive side, this game definitely isn't a clone of any other game. The graphics are interesting. It looks like there is a good variety of skills, units and interesting enemies.

Unfortunately, I don't find the game at all fun to play. The interface isn't good - there are tool tips, but only for a tiny fraction of the icons and keywords. There is a glossary of terms, opening it up only highlights to me why I dislike the game - complexity for the sake of complexity. Why have one term when you can have twenty, or maybe one hundred. This game is the opposite of streamlined. The game mechanics are poorly thought out.

Even something as basic as saving the game isn't handled well. The game doesn't save the current state of a mission, so interrupting a mission means you will have to replay it. Admittedly the missions don't take long to play.

I really dislike giving negative reviews for indie games but I'll make an exception for this one. Not only is the game no fun to play it seems to have been abandoned. Read the discussion forum, there is a reproducible hardlock bug that hasn't been fixed.
