Is it necessary to use a separate button for jump, or can up be used for jump like regular fgs?

I bought the original game but can't get it to run without crashing. I followed a guide I found on the Steam forums, yet can't get the game to run. If Ziggurat games wants to turn an obscure game their trying to turn into a franchise, then they should at least commission Night Dive Studios to remaster the original game and make it be played in 4K and with bonus added content/workshop support....

PC specs - intel pentium cpu g3220 with its included integrated graphics. 8 gb of ddr3 ram for memory. 64 bit windows 10 is the operating system. i like most of the controls so its not jsut this but man i really gotta say. having a enemy wear the US flag as a cape is kinda bugging tf outta me. which is hard to do since i dont normally get upset when games make the US the token bad guys. or just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but ♥♥♥♥ man....

I gave this a try, I tried, I really tried, but there ain't no getting over the cringe as I look on this weeaboo ♥♥♥♥. I knew from the title art that this is going to be pretentious as ♥♥♥♥. This ain't Slave Zero, it's some run-of-the-mill generic anime BS wearing the face of a dear friend. It looks like the Devs looking to steal the IP, because they couldn't create an original anime. Imagine waiting for HL3 for 24 years, and it came out as a Dating Sim. That is why this is disgusting....
