Having played through the game’s playtests, I can confidently say it delivers a well made experience. Visually, the game looks great and performs extremely smoothly, with good optimisation. With a RTX 4070, using ray tracing and ultra settings, I easily get 120-180 fps.

The gameplay mechanics and the elements all feel very polished, with a lot of content even at launch. The crafting and building system are solid, with little to no bugs. Exploration feels immersive, with a huge world to loot.

Now, let’s talk about the weapon mechanics. They’re some of the smoothest I’ve ever experienced in a game. The gunplay feels perfect, with responsive controls, well designed attachments, and satisfying feedback. Playing with friends makes the experience even better.


- Areas for Improvement -
UI – The interface feels a bit bland and static compared to other games. Adding more visual appeal and animations would enhance the experience.
Bugs – While the game was much buggier in early playtests, most issues have been fixed. That said, there are still some minor bugs at launch, though they're not frequent.


If you're looking for a difficult tactical shooter with depth, this is definitely worth your time! (Even better right now since It's on sale, and the developer is already working on a hotfix!)

The game is riddled with bugs, has a broken level of detail, and suffers from very poor performance with a 7800X3D and RTX 4080.
It also lacks any content that is both playable and enjoyable. Imagine playing Rust offline with bugs... that's what this game is like.

I refunded the game and would recommend avoiding it in its current state.
Maybe they will add features and fix bugs... but maybe they won't.

I'll have a video linked below of my first two hours in the game for those interested - overall, pleasantly surprised by how it ran - big improvement on the playtest 7 months ago. Still quite a few bugs with various systems but nothing game breaking or horrendous. Just lots of little inconveniences which I think could easily be tweaked in the code/settings and makes it a much better experience. I had a better experience this time around and for someone who plays these games solo usually, there's value here for the current asking price. Excited to see where the developer goes with it and addressing the bugs and stuff. I think combat balancing is still rather rough and enemy vision cones/spotting distance is wildly high but maybe I'm a filthy casual 🤣 It does say it's a hardcore tactical shooter but some enemies can see you through walls, have incredible range and 1 hit kill you after you mag dump them. Overall, not bad at all and plenty of room to improve and make something special here. It's a lovechild of Rust, Icarus and Cyberpunk on a tropical island. Need I say more?

Combat is probably the main thing at the moment holding me back from diving into even more hours in this at the moment - But something I'd be checking back in on every couple of months to see progress etc. until it's a bit further along.

Bizarrely, the game ran BETTER on Ultra with ray tracing than it did on High with no ray tracing - by like 10fps as well. No idea why. Oh, and please add 144hz framerate option. 120 or 150 is currently the only ones for around that framerate. For reference though, my rig is a i9 12900k, RTX4090 and 64GB of DDR5 Ram so no slouch by any means so your mileage may vary. Would recommend making use of the Steam Refund policy if you're unsure how it performs on your own rig - maybe the Dev could make a separate smaller 'demo' version of the game for people to test the first 30mins to an hour to aid with this?

Also, PvP is non-existent at the moment - I believe those servers will be coming in the future. Fine by me as I'm mainly a solo or PvE person anyway but just FYI in case that's your jam.
