Hi,

Some of the glyphs in the game may be pretty tricky to find, which means that the corresponding Journal pages are difficult to trigger.

Here are some tips on how to find the most commonly missed glyphs. Please note that these hints obviously contain spoilers. I recommend you only read them if you've finished the concerned level and really can't find all of its glyphs.

First tip, a rule of thumb: there's no "softlock" in this game, which means you can always find what you're missing, either by continuing to play or by going back. You can't be "stuck". Nothing important becomes inaccessible because you didn't find it at the right time, or because you didn't do things in the right order. This applies equally to glyphs, achievements, items, dialogues and puzzles (yes, including the Silver Ingot one).

Second tip: if you can't find a glyph and/or trigger the corresponding page, it's ALWAYS for the same reason: you just haven't observed something you were supposed to (and no, it's not a bug).
Remember that in this game, observing most of the time means clicking on an area or object to zoom on it and make its glyphs readable.
Remember, too, that you have a "Hint" button (see the Help section in the menu) you can use at any time, which will tell you whether there are any areas or objects left to interact with in the surroundings: a white dot means there's something left to do or see here.

And now for the more specific Hints :


LEVEL 1

Hint 1:
There's a lot to see in the Church.
At the far end, behind the altar, the mural.
You'll also need to talk to the Gardener.
Glyphs : PREACHER, DEATH, PLANTS

Hint 2 :
Did you go shopping?
In the shopping district, it's as much about observing as talking.
Talk to the luthier and the potter.
Glyohs : INSTRUMENT, MUSIC, CREATE


LEVEL 2

Hint 1:
Take a closer look at the large statue in the Great Hall at the entrance to the Fortress.
This statue pivots.
The mechanism is at the top of a staircase.
The statue has more than two sides.
You have to pivot it several times.
Glyphs: PROTECT, CHOSEN, IMPURE

Hint 2:
In the Antichamber, just before the Treasure Room.
There's something to be done with the torch.
The mechanism is further down.
When placed correctly, the torch illuminates the walls in a specific way.
Take a look at one of these walls, once properly illuminated.
Glyphs: KEY, INSTRUMENT, BALANCE, VESSEL

Hint 3:
You may have missed something in the Telescope Room.
Glyphs: SUN, MOON, BELLMAN


LEVEL 3

Hint 1:
You have to pay attention to the monkeys.
There are three monkeys. All three want the same thing.
Three monkeys = three fruits.
Look in the trees in the surrounding squares.
Glyphs: WEAPON, CARRY, IDIOT

Hint 2:
Near the first Terminal.
Underground.
Just after following the water carrier.
Glyphs: ME, YOU, SEARCH, FIND

Hint 3:
Have you fully explored the Sewers?
Follow the signs. All directions are good to follow.
Glyphs : ABBEY, FORTRESS, HUMAN, FREE


LEVEL 4

Hint 1:
Have you fully explored the galleries?
At the entrance of the level, near the first elevator mechanism.
Look at your right, there's a discreet passage.
You found the mural, but isn't there something behind that cart?
Glyphs: YOU, ME, PLURAL, FIND, SEARCH

Hint 2:
There are two books to be found in the Library. Have you read them both?
You'll also need to find and use the lighter, and look at the mural in the Laboratories.
Glyphs: HELP, FIRE, MAKE

Hint 3:
You should explore the Silver Mine a little more.
Not far from where you found the lighter.
Look right: a metal staircase leads down to a hidden room.
Glyphs: WARRIOR, NOT, PLANT
