I first played this about 14 years ago when It first came out. I remember being really excited for it because the Portal Creative lead was also taking the lead on this one. I remember even back then being dissappointed by this game and I still am now. On a game play level, it is a very decent game. The dimension shifts all come together to create a fun, mechanically deep puzzle game with emergent game play solutions. My main issue is the direction of everything else. The visuals are bland, the music is repetitive and not memorable. The plot is very dull and not very interesting. Unlike in something like portal, there is no in depth storyline, tension, or world building to keep you intrigued while cycling through each puzzle room. It's just puzzle after puzzle, and you get to listen John Delancie rant like a schizo. Also, the game is very short which is probably good with the amount of substance. The final puzzle was grabbing four batteries in five minutes and then the game just ends. I thought it was a joke at first. Overall, this game has good bits, but is not a good total product. Only recommend for fans of puzzle games while on discount.
