I've been wondering this. If I'm a non-royal duke in West Francia, and marry a princess from the neighboring Kingdom of Arles, would it be realistic? Did marriages between a royal and a non-royal from rival kingdoms happen at all historically? I can't find anything about it with google, the results are all royal to royal, fantasy, or modern....

hello, i was playing as semien, and when my neighbors troops were spawnedd, everyone's helmets just dissapeared, with the top of the head just showing with no solution. is there anyway i could solve this? thanks.

I've tried and failed multiple times to grok the mechanics of CK2, and it's just never happened. Watched videos, even (which I hate, and never do). I haven't tried it in a while, tho. I picked up Old World (by the lead dev of Civ 4), and it seems to have some similar overall mechanics (bloodlines, court intrigue, etc), so I'm wondering if OW could be sort of a CK2 primer, and springboard me to understanding of this game. Anyone know both games well enough to compare? TYIA!...

Is there a mod anywhere that stops all motion while the game is paused? I just recently got into the game and I am loving almost everything about it, but the only visual difference between paused and running is one minuscule widget in the date bar. Or am I the only person that thinks this is a problem?...
