Can't get any reinforcements in Solo campaign mode On day 4 with just the squad I started out with, now battle worn and no chance in the next conflict

I've been modding this game for a bit with the modding suite, as example, i modded the "cadavre module" to make all destroyed vehicles and infantry stay forever, as well as making the destroyed buildings stay destroyed. Now i want to do the same with the ground effects of munitions, at least with artillery and bomb craters, so that after a long game with lots of artillery, a wasteland full of craters is visible. But unfortunately i cant find the module. Please help me so i can finish my mods and make a...

All i just want to know is are people playing this game so i could know what i might want to buy.

I have now attempted to install and play this game twice in the last 30 minutes. Both times, the Steam Client shows "launching" which just hangs and hangs without the game ever starting. I did get the confirmation that the installation was completed. Since the game is from 2013 might there be a problem with Win 11. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? Or do I ask for a refund?...

I'm a great fan of all kinds of cold war turns hot scenarios (and any other modern conflict depicting, relatively realistic games). I also prefer GOG and DRM-free policy, so I'd really like to see all three wargame games on GOG and buy it there.
