Fallout 3 - Mechanist
For FO3 experts. I found Mechanists hideout in the Robot Repair Factory and when I got into it, mechanist was not there. Do I have to complete a previous mission to make mechainist appear.

I don't know why you're not asking this in the Fallout 3 forums, but did you go to Canterbury Commons where that questline starts?
