I only had the chance to play a few tables. But here are my pros and cons

PRO:
1. Sounds and some of the visuals are from the original pinball tables.
2. You can play these tables over and over again. No more paying 25 to 50 cents per game.

CONS:
1. Some of the visuals are not from the original. Objects are flying all over the tables. Very distracting.
2. Not all pinball tables are available.
3. You have to pay per table. This can be very costly if you purchase multiple tables.

Like a caffeinated squirrel at a disco, Pinball FX is all flashy lights and kinetic madness. It’s like Pong got a Hollywood makeover. Do flippers have egos? 'Cause these ones sure do!

Stay far, far away!

I bought several tables as DLC through Steam but they do not appear in game. I emailed Zen Studios' customer service address to ask for a refund, and after multiple weeks of troubleshooting to no effect, the rep admitted Zen Studios could not authorize a refund and pointed me back to Steam, who automatically rejected the request because too much time had passed.

Zen Studios took my money and used Steam as a shield. Given the opportunity, they will do the same to you.

Fun and addictive pinball, looks awesome, plays great. Nothing wrong with it. Williams recreations are fantastic and some of the optional graphical enhancements are fun and add something to the gameplay.

Same crap different version. Buy your tables over and over again. Wait for a new set of tables once a year.....rinse then repeat. Zen seems to be more interested in distributing to multiple platforms than fixing the bugs that have been around forever.

it goes ball-istic fr. all the dlc can be bought on sale, the game is gorgeous and has fun modes. steam deck integration needs work but its incredibly fun and addicting

This game runs worse, and loads tables much slower, than the last Pinball FX game.

Yet it doesn't really look any better at all.

Physics seem pretty darn good and the Williams collection has many of the machines I grew up with in the 90's and early 00's. They play a lot like I remember them. I can't say much about the other games made specifically for FX since I'm only interested in actual tables. A couple small gripes like no diagnostic access and the need to watch the entire match animation just to be kicked into a menu to then start on a reset table is an odd choice. I would like to seem more machines from other developers like Stern, Data East, Sega, Spooky, Jersey Jack etc. I'm sure licensing is tough though.
