Adjustments

Ranged Weapons:
- Adjusted targeting behavior
Apps:
- Adjusted behavior of the app "Predictive Shooting".
Gigant Arms:
- Tweaked invincibility windows

Bug Fixes

Map:
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to enter areas they shouldn't be able to.
UI:
- Fixed a bug where opening the menu immediately after moving between stages at specific times would cause the game controls to become unresponsive.
- Fixed a bug where opening the menu immediately after leaving a shop would cause the UI to disappear.
Achievements:
- Fixed an issue with the requirements for the achievement "Overpowering the Strong".
Miscellaneous:
- Fixed a bug where the Arms Bringers (machines used to assemble Arms) in the laboratory would not unlock at the correct points in progression.

I can't stop playing. Its hard to understand what to do at first but once you get your grips the game loop sinks it's teeth in you. Before you know it, you've grind mech parts and disks for hours without even realizing it.

My only gripe is the pixelation filter on higher resolutions. For the best visuals set the resolution to 720p windowed and use a third party app like borderless gaming to stretch the window fullscreen. I hope the devs will give us an option to lower the resolution while borderless or fullscreen with a ui scaler.

The game is a lot of fun, until it stops being fun all of a sudden.

Early on it can feel pretty easy, you're killing foot soldiers with your little dude, get a mech and can start going toe to toe with other mechs. You might die but it seems pretty fair. Then you get to the third area. It's mechs all the way down and they decided these guys need to be like ultra ace pilots that are constantly flying across the map faster than you can react. Try chasing them in your mech and oops you're suddenly exploded because it's almost impossible for you to hit them, but they can hit you easily.

If you manage to beat the game, every gate miniboss becomes this kind of annoyance on subsequent runs, being a mach 3 gnat that suddenly swoops in with damage that wants to one-shot you while they can literally outrun your bullets. It wouldn't be so bad if they couldn't actually fly around in the air out of camera view 90% of the time making it almost impossible to keep a bead on them even with lockon.

tldr: Fun game that decides to crank the difficulty from 1 to Dante Must Die with very little gradiance in-between

Dear Dev,

I am sorry i questioned your brilliance.

First two stages being gear / strat checks is fine and fair.

Third stage being locked by chips was a bit frustrating, but once i learned i just needed to spend some points making sure i had enough resist + tenacity, i could finally make minemeat out of third stage.

Cant wait to put another thousand hours into this game.
Hope you can keep it fresh.

When do I unlock robot customization?

I've played for 2.2 hours as the forklift. I hate the forklift and I want to play around with cool robot builds, when do I get to do this? It's too late to refund now and I'm dreading playing even one more game with this forklift. I literally bought this game because of the advertised customization....

Metal Bringer will be released on March 12, 2025!

Alongside this announcement, we've also updated the Steam demo of the game.
We've improved and polished the demo based on user feedback, and this new demo has been overhauled to provide an even better experience.
Whether you've already played the old demo, or if this is your first time hearing of it, please give the new demo a try, and we hope you'll enjoy it!

Demo Game Modes
Newbie
Power up and customize your Labor with apps as you learn the basic game mechanics and play through the beginning of the story. Your Labor will start out weak, but keep growing stronger to defeat a boss within the time limit!

Extreme
Use Labor and Arms that have already been strengthened to a certain extent to take on mid-game battles. Choose whatever kind of Labor, weapon, and Arms you like to overpower the boss!
Extreme Mode is unlocked from the title screen after you watch the opening scene and roll out on an investigation for the first time in Newbie Mode.
