When I speak to an NPC, then show them one of my notes, usually things are fine. But when I show them the note at the top of my list, the game boots me back to the scene of the background, with no characters on it. Nothing is clickable except the left/right arrows, so I can't do anything, not even close the game. I've tried this more than once with different NPCs.
