Uninstalled the piece of ♥♥♥♥ game and reinstalled and still the same thing, and this time it is missing 2 files. These devs are incompetent.

I constantly crash the game when I try to launch it... (never happened before)
it says - "Windows can't find" and then where the ArkAsendent.exe file should be...
sigh... Let WC to ♥♥♥♥ up their game when there is an event -_-

Me too. Wont reinstall. Get disk error. Started last night after a patch.

Those two files are ALWAYS missing, because they involve saved games which are of course not part of the game download. This is pretty much common knowledge. You are just re-downlloading the same game as it was before the patch, so of course it still needs patching!

The disk error may be because Steam always wants at least 100gb spare to use as a temp file while the game is essentially re-written. People think that if they have a few gig spare on their drive that's fine for a 400mb update. Sadly, nope.
