A title that shines a new light upon the story of The Lord Of The Rings
The game transports you from fighting orcs and Uruks, to branding them as YOUR tool of fighting
A really interesting combination between a hack and slash and AC style parkour and stealth executions
The ranks of the orcs: Captains and Warchiefs, are a really good mechanic, orcs which's weaknesses you can take advantage of for either executing them easily, or manage to not struggle when branding them to your side
The monster riding feature is really interesting, but it mostly deprives you of your streak abilities, like execute or drain/brand
And among everything else thats good in this game... the bossfights are abit of a lackluster.. playing Hide 'n Seek / Tag with one of Sauron's most powerful servants, and the final boss fight being a sequence of THREE quick-time events.. (Personally I had to struggle more with one scrawny orc captain, because of his shortage of weaknesses and dealing a lot of damage)
Leaving those aside, this title is really worth playing, especially for LOTR fans, and who wants to get INTO the LOTR lore!

Finally beat the game that has been sitting in my library since its release. I would have to say it is a good game. From the story play thru and the extra game modes that the game posses. IF the GOTY edition is on sale its a total steal. I can't wait for the sequal that's already in my downloads.

One does not simply walk into Mordor... and complete Test of the Wild & Test of the Ring.
