Obsidian Support [support.obsidian.net]
I did the same thing (found the quest by exploring north of the city). The quest now says "find someone to tell about this in town" (or something like that). I haven't left the temple yet, so hopefully I don't have this same issue when I return to town.

SPOILERS
Not this problem. But yeah, this quest is broken AF. I get to the point to sacrifice my own soul and instead of the quest continuing as normal as soon as Sargamis flicks the switch to kill me I die and then instead of the quest progressing as it should the game just reloads to my previous save. This game is so broken it's a worthless, abominable disgrace. F Obsidian. They obviously cared more about inserting their own personal opinions and issues into the game than putting out a quality, polished, finished game. I mean what developer says to buyers to be tolerant of the about of bugs, which is exacy what Obdidian has done. DISGRACEFUL. I can accept a bug or 2 here and there but not something like this that's persisted through TWO SEPARATE 2+GB UPDATES, with less than fn nothing done to fix it. I'm glad this game is on GamePass because if I'd have paid for this I'd have taken it back for a refund.
