When trying to get the dart from the poor mans neck it shows me the option of grabbing it but then swiftly disappears. I've read the controller can fix it, but I think that I should wait because well looking through these pages I have also heard at the at the end of the game my game could crash and i'd lose all of my progress, although i'm assuming that has been fixed in the most recent patch but until this patched I shall pause. I know that i'm very late to the whole problem, but just in case this helps someone else I have shared my thoughts.
