Gioco che riprende tutto ciò che funzionava del primo e lo porta al livello successivo, come ogni buon seguito dovrebbe fare. Tecnicamente non ho riscontrato grossi problemi di stabilità; lato ottimizzazione si sarebbe potuto fare qualcosa in più ma vedo che stanno rilasciando patch stabilmente, quindi sono fiducioso. Se posso muovere una critica, molto soggettiva, non apprezzo poi così tanto tutta questa tecnologia che utilizza Spiderman. Infatti utilizzo quasi sempre solo il lancia-ragnatele; trovo abbastanza fuori contesto che Peter utilizzi gadget per sollevare criminali, dar loro la scossa e via dicendo. Però ripeto, è un mio parere. Anzi, premio ad Insomniac per aver utilizzato una chiave di lettura differente. Gran plauso invece per aver ulteriormente implementato le attività secondarie, le quali contribuiscono a variare la classica formula dell'open world. Concludendo, gran gioco! Lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti dell'arrampicamuri e dei giochi in stile Batman Arkham.

al di là di alcuni problemi di ottimizzazione, il gioco è davvero bello, storia coinvolgente, giocabilità come solo i tripla A di Sony sanno donare.

FPS drops and crash are an issue, but it's still a really good game probably more fun than the first game, the black suit of Spider-Man looks amazing! Once they fix these problems, I'll definitely change my review.

Dear PlayStation, there is no company that releases games of this quality this frequently other than you. Please stop the live-service crap and keep doing what you do best, single-player games. Spider-Man 2 tells its story in high detail. It lets you see everything unlike telling you stuff like many other games. Insomniac surely took their time with the story and didn't mind the player watching minutes of cutscenes and I think that's the right choice. The storytelling is really powerful with deep characters as well as strong narrative moments throughout.


Gameplay is mostly, the same. But it was fun in the first game, yet again it's more fun here. The combat is tweaked with some additions like new abilities and some other things I don't want to spoil. The traversal again is the best part of the experience. Spider-Man 2 has only a few gameplay additions but maintains the same enjoyment level. Side content is once again, repetitive but they tried their best to diversify them. Spider-Man 2 games are the easiest 100% completions for me because of how polished and fun the gameplay is.

Optimization is very good here. I don't know what other people are experiencing with this port, but on my own fairly old rig, it runs smooth as butter. The graphics display remarkable improvement over the original game. The map is larger than the first game as well but it's no issue. Insomniac and Nixxes perfected visual fidelity and performance optimization specifically on PC.


The game contains forced woke elements that disrupt the game world experience because they do not belong there. We know that SBI worked for this title as well as among other "modern" games. Various story elements along with multiple character decisions are only for delivering messages rather than serving the progression of the plot. This is to be seen in most PlayStation titles since The Last of Us Part II and really feels unnecessary and damaging to the experiences.


There is no need to talk much about this one so I will keep it short. Playing Spider-Man 2 is the absolute best superhero game currently available through its excellent gameplay and storytelling along with its huge production quality and insane polish.

still crashes after newest patch. nothing changed. it will just shut off your computer out of no where lmao dont even buy it yet.

I enjoyed Spider-Man 2 from start to finish with zero crashes on my RTX 4070 using Driver Version 572.16, though after updating to 572.42 on New Game+, I experienced one crash and one freeze, but despite some minor bugs like audio delays and missing sound near the end, which didn’t affect my experience, I had a great time playing on Ultra settings with DLSS Quality and Frame Generation enabled (Ray Tracing off) at 100-200 FPS, and after playing Spider-Man 1 (2018) on PS4 at launch and Miles Morales on PC, the wait for Spider-Man 2 PC release was well worth it, delivering a story of similar length to the first game while maintaining the same open-world structure, side missions, and overall style, and I highly recommend playing with a PS5 DualSense or DualShock controller, as I used the DualShock and it felt great, making this a solid 10/10 experience for me, which is why I went for 100% completion just like I did with Spider-Man 1.

Buying this on day 1 was a mistake. Honestly the game itself is ok. Gameplay is great but the story is by far the worst of the three, feeling incredibly rushed compared to the other two.

Plus the bugs are horrendous. Like seriously one of the worst ports I have seen in years. I am crashing when I am just swinging around from mission to mission. Crashing when I am crawling on a pipe with a 4080 man.

Kraven deserved his own game, Venom deserved his own game and yknow what. Sandman deserved his own game.

Wait for more patches. Such a miss on this port from the usually solid Nixxes.
When it works it looks fantastic and runs okay... when it boots.
So far it has crashed my PC about half of the times I've run the game.
No other game has done this in recent memory.

good game, just wait for more patches to reduce freezing and stutters.
It runs fine on low setting with frame generation on gtx 1650 and can just abt reach 60 fps in medium graphics in the city.
Opening scene is really buggy tho with sandman, sometimes getting into the 30s

20th feb, just got patch 3 and the game runs a lot better, u can run medium graphics with fsr with abt 72 fps
But they still need to fix some symbiote cutscenes bc the tendrils make u run at like 20 fps '-'
