The achievement says the requirement is total across all your farms, but i'm beginning to think it only counts if you get 250k on one farm, as i do not have the achievement yet, and i have over 208k harvests on one farm and over 51k on another.
I have tried closing the game and verifying files and loading the farms from the main menu.
