Foraging Seeds

I unlocked the mines but I don't know where/how to forage seeds. I'm on day 16 of warm and the shop has only been selling 2 or 3 of each seed and now I don't have enough wheat and oats for any baking ingredients. I don't know if I missed something or I just don't know where to look.

Spoiler in case someone doesn't want to know things about the caves: those tall glowing plants will drop wheat seeds 10% of the time when you cut them down with your scythe :)

I didnt even think to cut stuff down aside from crops, good to know.
