The last playtest build was made using the 'demo' tag instead of 'playtest', which resulted in having the save game in a different file. This build is correcting this issue.

A few people will still be impacted by the fix, if they've been playing over the last few days. Save game files can be retrieved here:

C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\XperimentalZ Games\Escape the Mad Empire

So if the save game seem to have 'reset', you can go there and move files around to retrieve it. All our apologies for the inconvenience!
