Viper Trial Bug?

For some reason, as I'm playing the Viper Turret Trial, I'm taking only two damage per hit, instead of what I'm assuming should be four (and thus a TKO).
This might be a red herring, but I have stone equipped in my current turret setup. Since that reduces damage (even if only to shield), does that somehow end up getting logged into it by accident?

So this is actually an aspect of Viper itself, if you check its description - takes at most 2 Health damage when hit.

(I forgot too and ended up going in-game to check and saw that myself)

Oh, that's right! I forgot that part. I guess that's why it's odd that the trial description makes it sound like one hit is game over (barring the defib).
