I am removing this from my wishlist.

It is normal for visual novels to be 10£ on the low end, 20£ on the very high end with 25£ being pushing it. 40£ gets you a full release non visual novel game.

I don't know how much money do you think people have, but it is not a "I will pay 40£ for a visual novel" levels.

You can always find this game in the green store, so don't be upset and wait a day.

You're saying that about a game which you yourself called low quality for the price in your post. Also, your region's price is good 14$ cheaper than mine.

It's 40€ for me, after the promotional discount after the release 36€.
Still, those money for about nine to twelve hours of reading is just a bit too much for me.

The judgement of mine is mainly based on the comparison of the other visual novels that I've read in the meantime, far too many times with more than double the reading time, and over half of the current price tag.
I will be waiting for at least a ~50% to 80% discount because this.. This is a bit too much.
Even at the halved price tag will I be drawing questions if it'd be worth it.. I'd be more or less satisfied with something around 10€ to 15€, but anything more will require some careful consideration on my side, more likely leaning towards rather getting some cheaper ones with much more content.

But it's one thing if you're a known universe like Fate or Stein's Gate, but if you're a small indie studio, then three $10 purchases are much more valuable than one $30 purchase. But it seems that many devs just don't understand how steam works.

For me, it's the length of the game. I but tons of VNs have a high price range (then again I have the regional pricing) but they are usually long VNs of 25+ to 30+ supposed hours of reading. Anything that is below 10 hours...yeah I will wait and see.

Wow, that’s so unfair China got $8.5, we have it at $17, too. Which is outrageous since our country’s currency is worth less than yuan 😭

wow, from all the talk here i'm so shocked how much the price changes based on where you live, $50-$40-$17 and so on. It is $40 ($35.99) for me and this just feel like a scam at this rate. I wishlisted Neverlander and Velvet bite at the same time too, might need to rethink because $40 for a measly 12 hours of reading is not worth it to me. hopefully the creator will take constructive criticism and maybe listen to the people and how bad the price is but i doubt it.

No Way will I pay a near AAA price for a VN that is about 10 hours of read time. The Most I have EVER paid is £22 for a 16 hour Voice acted one. I am shocked at such a price. Nelieve me I buy alot of VN's

Yesterday they dropped Hong Kong Dollar price from $20+ to $8.5 (now its on par with Chinese Yuan). SO they have ability to change prices quickly

Oooo yay. Hopefully they do that will USD soon. I'd buy at $10-$15 tbh, I would have bought at $20-30 if it had a good story but apparently the story has problems from what the reviews say. Rushed story line and etc. I agree what that other person said about how a double A price point doesn't mean double A game in this case.
