RoF is not broken. It's just very annoying, gridding and hard to play
Clearly the most important balance aspect comes from the speed-up. Now Slifer the Sky Dragon will finally be playable without spending a minor lifetime being stuck scanning the hands and field, every single time a card anywhere does anything. XD
Although I do suppose the ability to turn off deck-building limitations and having the ability to instantly access all cards might also slightly influence balance in some obscure way. :P
Not really broken at all; quite the opposite in fact - it adds to the immersion. Your character literally gets fatigued from duels and has to take breaks, just as one might do in real life. Also, no reason to assume they changed anything at all, so expect this to remain as-is, unless they add a cheat to instantly recover LP after each duel.
You can just play around the lack of auto-healing with cards that recover LP. Dian Keto the Cure Master alone heals 5000 LP in this game, allowing you to easily exceed your 4000 starting points, at least for that duel. If you have over 4000 at the end of the duel, you get reset to 4000.
Or at the very least if they do I hope it's an option you can turn off.
Never did play Reshef but loved Sacred Cards as a wee one, am looking forward to playing Reshef in all its original glory!
