I'm just happy for this one.
My first Yu-Gi-Oh! game.

Same so good
This is one of the few games based on an anime that did a decent job adding a self insert imo. You don't really talk IIRC outside of a few dialogue selections but it felt like you fit into the world properly.

The only other one I thought did as good a job as this was Attack on Titan 2. This game is the whole reason I'm gonna get this, and then slowly work through the others on it!

It really does a good job of letting you play through Battle City with the freedom you'd want in a game. It is too bad that they over corrected for it's sequel.

I loved the music, seeing the character's determination, and the serious vibes each player gave when you challenged them.

I a lot of anime does this with rival tropes, but for me, this game was the first time seeing it.

"Show me the real Yu-Gi!" Will always be one of my favorite quotes during the Zeplin Arena.

I remember I once farmed for deck capacity from Rex (Dino deck dude) untill I could easily put the panther warriors into my deck.
The card had the highest dmg and def for being a card that took 0 sacrifices to play.
Being forest and beast, the card could benefit from Field & forest battlegrounds. By then I was able to walk through the game.

But I wanted my younger brother to enjoy the game, so I let him start a new game. It was even more fun seeing him enjoy the game.
