the game actually works on mac...???!
Steam tells me this won't run on the newest macs. But it lets me download the game and then it runs just fine...

so what gives??

What does "it doesn't work" really mean? It means that no one has been arsed to officially test it. Apple silicon wasn't a thing when this game was remastered.
