Pretty short and simple but very effective on it's horror aspect, the atmosphere it's really good and scary, totally recommended.

Combines my two favourite things: stop motion animation and creepy little guys. Just a quick little game jam thing, more a proof of concept than anything, and takes 5-10m to play, but it packs a lot of atmosphere into those 5-10m, and I really hope the devs decide to make something bigger out of it. I want to play a game where I study creepy little guys archeologically and research all the ways they want to kill me.

I originally played the demo, so I was quite familiar with this little game going into it, but I absolutely adore what has been added. I only have two critiques. First: A record of your searches in the books would be nice, it matters little since you only have to read a few book entries but its still something to keep in mind if there is anything more done with this idea. Second: More please! I cannot express how much this is my dream game, and the fact that it is so short physically hurts me. I have never wanted something to be a full game more than Children of Clay.

In short, if you're a history/horror fan, download this. It's free, it's short, it's super good, what do you have to lose? And get the making of DLC while you're at it, I sure as hell don't regret doing so. My only warning is that this little tidbit might leave you wanting for so much more, I know that's what it did for me.
