DEMO FEATURES

In this demo for Dawn Apart, you'll make planetfall on Sirius B 3 and start fulfilling mining quotas set up by the Kobayashi-Schwarz Corporation. For each successful delivery of Lucrum 115, the galaxy’s most precious mineral, you'll receive valuable resources and additional colonists, which you can then use to optimize your production lines to tackle future trade requests. While the full game will feature defending your factories and settlement, combat is not included in this demo version.

This demo contains 2 hours of playtime highlighting the beginning of the game. Features include

• a tutorial and onboarding sequence introducing players to the core mechanics of the game

• crafting and operation of tier 1 resources, machines, and building blocks

• mining of a limited set of resources (coal, granite, copper, iron, quartz, Lucrum)

• management of a limited number of colonists (from 3 up to 15), including adjustment of their schedules and priorities

• building and operating a space port to accept and fulfill a total of five Lucrum trade requests

FULL GAME FEATURES (available at Full Release)

• Two distinct game modes: an extensive campaign mode in which players have to fulfil constantly growing Lucrum quotas and a sandbox Mode in which they can build, automate and expand factories at their own pace without having to watch out for enemies and without the pressure of meeting resource quotas

• Expanded and unlimited building: erect massive, multi-floor factories by placing and combining walls, floor tiles, ceilings, machines, lighting, furniture and decorations

• More complex automation processes: Through a combination of increasingly complex technologies and the clever use of available resources players can steadily optimize their assembly lines

• Fully fleshed-out colony simulation features: Manage hunger, sleep, comfort, and loyalty levels by providing housing, food and amenities of hundreds of colonists, with each colonist having their unique appearance, body type, and weapon and armor set.

• Combat: In the full game players have to defend their mining operation and colony against the It’ak, an intelligent humanoid life form that will attack and try to destroy their compounds. Players have to erect defensive measures as well as train, recruit and strategically place troops around the premises to see the next day. Thanks to realistic destruction and fire propagation physics everything from flora and fauna, soldiers and buildings can be destroyed and burned down to the last voxel.
