Configure Controller - Loading Glitch
Hey! Has anyone had an issue where you're going back and forth between the configuration mode in big picture and the game to adjust controls/sensitivity, and when you try and go back to controller configuration Big Picture gets stuck in an endless Loading Image of 3 Bars flickering? I try going back and then back into controller configuration but it never seems to load beyond this, and I have to completely restart steam. It's a HUGE pain.

Is there any way around this?

Dont leave the configuration menu completely. Just press the steam button on your controller while you are in the configuration menu to exit the overlay.

Hey, dunno if you re still having trouble with that. I was having problems alike yours with a couple of games. Steam Support helped me that, and totally worked with all my games

We have seen a couple of users with corrupt entries in their sharedconfig.vdf file causing this issue where the configuration screen loads indefinitely.

Please note: This process will delete all of your controller configs:

Find your sharedconfig.vdf here: (relevant hard drive)...Steam/userdata/[AccountID]/7/remote/sharedconfig.vdf

Open sharedconfig.vdf with a text editor (notepad should work). All of your Steam Controller configs should be stored here.
Search for the heading “controller_config”, then remove the blocks of text belonging to it (any text preceding the next heading), save and close the file, then restart Steam.

Just to be sure, you'll have to delete the entire block that reads something like this:

"406970"
{
"usetime" "1847.5078125"
"selected" "workshop://the uncertain gamepad_0.vdf"
"enablerumble" "0"
"rumbleintensity" "320"
}

In the case above, you'd make sure to remove the section: "workshop://the uncertain gamepad_0.vdf" along with the entirety of the block.

I have seen a lot of people with problems like with several games, had no idea that solution was that easy; Help spread the word
