Hello, I've had Steam Link since 2016 and it has mostly worked just fine for me - one of the better purchases I've made in the past decade.

The only issue I'm having with Link is with games that require EA App (in my case EA FC 25, Mass Effect Legendary Edition). Both games launch just fine through Steam Link and open up the main menu, play sound etc., but no matter what I do, these games do not detect any of my controllers properly (which btw work just fine with every other game other than EA App games). Controllers are detected though, but they behave as I'm using keyboard and mouse: moving joystick around works seems to emulate a mouse, right trigger functions as a left mouse button etc..

In an attempt to solve I have disabled EA App Overlay, I have enabled/disabled Steam Input on these games, I have made EA FC as a Non-Steam shortcut on Steam... nothing works. I think Valve is aware of this issue with EA App games? Is there something to be done from Valve's end to enable better controller support for cases like these? Or is there something I could still try?
