But I will be happier if we have options to auto-update to "betas" and "alphas" there.
I know I would not want Blender updating every time I logged into Steam because the program was updated at midnight after the day's development and rebuild.
Beside if things stick to schedule, we should have 2.90 in about 10 days from now anyway.
Great Job on getting the new release out on the same day guys!! I thought there might be a little lag on the Steam release.
I guess if ppl want to stick with 2.83LTS, then they can just roll back and stay there until they're ready to move forward.
Not sure how the update affected the Beta opt-in though. I was planning on having one of my systems rolled back to 2.79b with the opt-in process before 2.90 rolled out to see if the update would kick the opt-in version out. But I missed it...
