Hello everyone,

This is just a small bug fix update. A user noticed PlanetSide 2 wasn't working correctly with CC and that led to fixing a long standing bug in the process/fullscreen detection.

Hey everyone,

The latest update adds support for Simplified Chinese.

No other changes in this update.

Another update may appear shortly as it seems some users are having trouble with CC and the Windows 10 Creators Update.

If you are having issues with the Creators Update, could you locate your crashes.log in your C:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\controllercompanion and send it to the support email. Any additional information will help.

Hello everyone,

This update adds the first non-English localisation: Russian. I'll be adding more going forward once I've stamped out the issues with Russian. If you understand russian and spot any issues with the translation please let me know. :)

* Fixed an issue where changing mouse speed on downloaded Workshop profiles did nothing.

Hello everyone,

For this new patch I made some foundational changes to give you some more options for using secondary bindings. Instead of you having to use BACK for secondary bindings, you can choose any button to act as a Modifier key to use secondary bindings. Also, I've added another two sets of bindings and modifiers (Alt-1 and Alt-2) so you can get even more functionality onto the Controller if you wish.

The Windows 10 Anniversary update also changed some details in how Secure Desktop works on the login screen, this patch should address that. As well as properly dismissing Screen-Savers.

Finally, some users have reported they don't find the BACK+START controller disable very useful because it disables the controller for all programs. So in settings you'll now be able to enable per-process disable, when you disable CC for a specific process it will remember that and only stay disabled for that process.

Hello everyone,

The new feature for this update is the ability to run CC on the signin screen and during those pesky UAC popups.

This update also includes a fix for workshop support which had been broken by an earlier SDK update. I apologize for the delay in getting this issue fixed. I'll strive to fix these sort of breaking issues faster in the future and have already made some changes to my pipeline to allow me to do that.

Hello everyone,

The newest build of the app has just been set live on Steam and it now has (experimental) support for the Xbox 360 chatpad on Wired Controllers. It also comes with an improved installer and bug fixes for chatpad in general.

For all of you without chatpads, the main feature in this update is smoother mouse and scroll movement.

Regarding Steam Controller support, I'm still investigating, but it doesn't seem to be a very easy nut to crack. I'll keep trying.

Hello everyone!

This update took me a bit longer that expected, sorry about that. It is pretty cool though as it is Xbox 360 Chatpad support.

As you may know Xbox 360 Chatpad is not natively supported by Windows. That means I had to write a driver for it (and the controller) and that gets a bit complicated so this feature is experimental for now. That just means I expect you to encounter a few bugs, so please report those! :)

Also there are some limitations, for example the chatpad only works for Wireless controllers and it won't work in games that have native controller support.
