Diamond City elevator bug

so, recently i encountered a strange bug: footbridge of the elevator to mayor's office is extended when the elevator is going down, but it slips back in and closes the damn thing as soon as it is o n top, or on bottom to pick me up.
i know i can use other elevator, but i just wanted to point that out and see if anyone has similar problem.

Mine does this to, I've also noticed several lifts where the lift still operates but doesn't move correctly visually (i.e. The Northern Star access lift).

mine does this too, although i still use it by jumping on when it's still moving. it's annoying and visually unappealing though.

I think I found the solution/fix (for PC).
Open the Console Command menu.
Type: prid 00142367 (this is the footbridge's code).
Close the console command menu & let the elevator go up while it's extended.
Then open the CC menu again, type "disable" (no quotations) & close the CC menu.
Once it reaches the top (or bottom), open the CC menu, type "enable" & close it.
You should be able to use that elevator again w/out using the 2nd elevator.
