I've been trying to play the game lately and it's being very bugging; not even that far into the story and the game has already crashed on me twice, is anyone else experiencing problems with this? as in frequent crashes?

Bioshock 2 remastered is crashing a lot, so I want to play the standart version.

I bought both remasters when they came out, but while the first game was patched to the point where I could play it, I gave up on this one before it got to that point. Now many years later, I'm looking to clean up my list of unplayed games. Is it worth starting this one now? Or should I give up on ever playing it? I would much rather not start than get a quarter of the way through before having to give up due to crashes....

This whole page is littered with people who, 8 years later still cant play this game consistently. The fixes listed in the community clearly don't resolve the issue and the game continues to crash for most everyone. Steam keeps taking money for something that obviously doesn't work. Then further, if you spend over two hours trying to fix it, they wont give any compensation. Even speedrunners on YouTube basically lower their graphics to play-doh and still just pray it doesnt crash. Am I really at the po...
