i admit it's horrible but just turn off voice/text chat, if that doesn't work turn the voice volume to 0.
turn off sprays too in case it's insanely bad

Valve games are generally unfiltered probably due to the age of most of their games, which attract these people. I see more toxic people on l4d2 than tf2 tbh

Great, game's still playable it seems

i think it stems from self-loathing honestly, they hate themselves and project that hatred onto others. it's targeted towards minorities because they're more vulnerable and easier to direct vitriol towards with less risk of pushback from others. it's cowardly, but also a bit pitiable. i hope one day they get the love and attention they clearly are in desperate need of.

I mostly see normal people on tf2 but occasionally, I get that one guy who has a gross attitude. They usually cheat and try to get a rise out of people.

i mostly see weird people on tf2 remember seeing some heavy named im a spy and he kept spamming spy voicelines at me and other peeps nice fella
