Steam networking feature
Has anyone else tried it out yet? It works flawlessly, but randoms seem to be able to just join through the community browser and even the casual queue as one guy claimed (which I didn't believe) and it happened every time I would host via this feature. Of course this is remedied with sv_password, but I just want to know other's experiences with this.

Great new feature, you can just host from your computer. Simply go to "create server" on the find a game menu, and check the box "use steam networking" and boom, your hosting your own server.
I've had randoms join more than once even before the update, when I was messing with MvM stuff. I was both scared and confused when it happened, to the point that I quickly disconnected before I became part of a creepypasta.

I have "-enablefakeip" in my launch options, which probably was the reason they could join.
